Welp, G.O.A.T.s do what G.O.A.T.s do. They win over and over again when no one thinks they can anymore. Brady played an excellent game from start to finish but let's take a look at how the Bucs won the game.
First off, their defense played outstanding. They gave up basically 0 big plays all game, they kept Pat Mahomes in check and were making plays left and right. Last time these two teams met, Patrick tore the defense up and so did Tyreek Hill. It was like those two were playing backyard football against a bunch of middle schoolers. Clearly if the Bucs were going to have a chance at winning, their defense needed to keep them in check, which they did. Pat threw two interceptions and was held to 0 touchdowns and Hill was held to 7 catches for 73 yards. Most of those yards came late in the game once it was already over. If the MVP trophy could have been given to a group of people, it should have been given to the defense. They were incredible. Second, the Chiefs killed themselves. They had 11 called penalties against them, most of their defense, which gave the Bucs offense multiple attempts at getting the first down or getting into the end zone. The one thing you can't do with Tom Brady is give him multiple tries at anything because it will not end well for you. He has played in too many big games to not take advantage of multiple tries at scoring a touchdown or getting a first down. It was the Bucs defense and the Chiefs penalties that ultimately was the deciding factors to who won this game. Now as for Tom Brady, whether you hate him or love him, 7 superbowl wins is something that will not be reached for a long long time. Tom has officially submitted his ticket for the greatest of all time and to be honest, he isn't even close to anyone else. He is the clear G.O.A.T. from whoever you want to put behind him. From the moment he got drafted, he has done everything that he could possibly do to win. He has won super bowls in three different different decades. The fact that he is still in the league is beyond incredible, let alone making ten super bowls and winning 70% of them. Out of his 7 superbowl wins, he has been the MVP of 5 of them. Still Tom Brady feels like he has more to prove, returning for another season to do this all again. The reason as to why he chooses to come back again? Well it might be the simple fact that he was picked 199th in his draft class and he still feels like he has to prove all of his haters wrong. Remembering Kobe Bryant2/4/2021 What happened to Kobe, his daughter and the rest of those families was terrible. There is no other way to say it. It was just simply heartbreaking when the news broke that everyone died in the helicopter. Since that moment, everyone seems to be in love with Kobe and everything that he did, like he never did any wrong. I am not saying that he was a terrible person or whether he did some of the things he was accused of doing but when he was taking over the league, he was not a very likeable guy due to his intensity and competitive nature.
Everyone seems to forget that he was accused of rape in 2003. Now whether you believe that he did or did not do it, having this allegation brought against you is still very serious and did not make him very popular around the league or in society in general. Over that past year a lot of things were spoken to be later false and ultimately the case was dropped after the accuser would not testify in court. Kobe has also cursed out a lot of teammates over his time as an NBA player and did not get along with his SuperStar teammate Shaq. You could make a very good argument that he was the reason Shaq was traded from LA to Miami. You could also make a strong argument that he did not help young players on the team feel comfortable or even liked at some moments while on the team due to his nature of wanting to win. Another argument that you can make is that because of his bully nature to his teammates, it hurt their ability to succeed in the NBA and ultimately not playing in the NBA anymore. He was also not a very likeable player outside of his own team. Jalen Rose for a long time did not like Kobe, probably from him dropping 81 on his team, the Toronto Raptors, at the time but that he was also so cocky about it. Shaq is another person that did not like Kobe too for a while because of comments that Kobe made towards him. I know that Celtics fans did not like him at all due to the fact that he beat them in the NBA finals and mostly because of the hatred each franchise has towards each other. There are also a lot of other individual stories around the league that are just like these ones. But going back to my main point, everyone seemed to forget all of these stories and the allegations when Kobe died. Why? He's not a bad person for these stories, it's just who he was. When someone dies, we should be honest about who the man was, not glorify him into something he wasn't. He wasn't very liked and that was okay with him because he wanted to win, he wanted to be a killer, and didn't care about feelings. Why do you think he's called the black mamba? It seems to me that after he died there were a lot of fake fans that started to show up to pretend like they knew what kind of a person he was or knew his reputation around the league. A lot of people who didn't support him while he was alive, started to support him after he was dead. That just doesn't sit right with me. I wasn't a Kobe fan while he played, I respected how he won and wanted to win but my guy will always be Dwyane Wade. It won't ever change. When Kobe died, I knew it was a great loss to a lot of people who looked up to him and played against him but I wasn't all of a sudden a fan. I didn't go out to buy a jersey, buy his shoes or all of a sudden to care about everything he did. I remembered him exactly the way he was while he was alive, a cold blooded killer who had bad accusations brought up against him and who was not liked because of how much he wanted to win. Simple. In conclusion, I would not say that he was not a very likeable person outside of Lakers fans. He was very competitive while he played the game which is why he was one of the greatest players to ever touch a basketball but when it came to his likeability around the league and with fans around the US he was not liked by many. What is going on with all the blue blood schools in college basketball? Could they all suck this year because of covid? Maybe? Could it be because their coaches suck this year? Maybe? Wait, did I really just say coach K, sucks? I did but clearly that isn't the case. Could it be that other teams are just simply better? Possibly? Or is it that these teams just all happen to have a bad year all at the same time? Possibly but very unlikely. Is it that their recruiting class this past year was just that bad? Ehh, probably not. So what is it? What is the reason all of these blue blood schools suck this year?
Honestly, it could be a number of these things as covid has impacted how colleges went about beginning their seasons, like the limited number of scrimmages and practices in the beginning of the season. Another thing that comes out of this year is how the one and done players have put a lot on incoming freshmen to put up big numbers each and every night without much preparation going into the season. It could also be due to these athletes wanting to break tradition. As we have seen in the US the past few years, things have started to break tradition and people want to start something new. Maybe this is a beginning of something in college basketball that is here to stay and new schools and programs will recruit top athletes and push schools like Duke, Kentucky, and North Carolina to the side. To be honest, there is a lot going on right now in the United States, no matter what side you stand on, we are living in times that have not been seen. With that being said, this also has an impact on sports like we have seen with the NBA and the BLM protests and logos and the jerseys that the NBA players were wearing. This could possibly be a trickle down effect to college basketball and as a young player, it could have a big effect on how they are playing. They don't have professional mentors that are helping them in these tough times like these NBA does with these young players being drafted. No matter what the case may be for these blue blood schools and their performances this year, it is definitely something to keep an eye on moving forward with all of the society changes and how covid is going to be handled in the future. In a heartbreaking turn of events beloved actor Dustin Diamond known for playing Screech Powers on Saved by the Bell had passed at age 44. Diamond continued to reprise his role for the franchise in various spinoffs, including “Saved by the Bell: The College Years” and “Saved by the Bell: The New Class,” the latter of which he starred in for about six years.
The star also appeared as himself in a variety of shows and films following his stint as Screech, among these being “Made,” “Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star,” “Four Corners Road,” “American Pie Presents: The Book of Love” and his infamous 2006 sex tape “Screeched — Saved by the Smell.” Diamond told Oprah Winfrey in a 2013 episode of “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” that he was embarrassed by the tape and that the paycheck “wasn’t worth what the fallout was.” “Looking back now in my 30s, I realize that was really dumb,” he said. “People to this day look down on me. There’s a lot of people [who think] ‘how disgusting of you’ — and I didn’t really do it.” He also had stints on reality TV, including “Celebrity Big Brother,” “Celebrity Fit Club,” “The Weakest Link” and “Celebrity Boxing 2.” Diamond wrote a memoir about his time with the “Saved by the Bell” franchise. Titled “Behind the Bell,” the book recounts alleged controversies related to cast members, including himself. Diamond was married to Jennifer Misner from 2009 until their separation in 2013. Diamond was arrested in 2014 and served three months in prison in 2015 for stabbing a man during a bar fight. He was arrested again in May 2016 for violating the terms of his probation. Representation went on to explain how Mr Diamond was a passionate and flawed individual who despite his personal shortcomings was a good person who struggled to deal with internal pain and demons. Athletes And Cannabis Use2/2/2021 Athletes And Cannabis Use
There is nothing new about athletes using cannabis products during or after their careers, but it is however becoming more common for them to speak out publicly about their marijuana use. Especially with more and more states legalizing different forms of cannabis for both medical and recreational use.
Whether it be CBD or THC based, a good number of pro athletes swear by cannabis for the success of their careers and games. This is reasonable if you consider the vast benefits of medical marijuana, especially when it comes to pain management. It is clearly the better option for treating pain than opioids for a number of reasons. As the years go by and marijuana laws are constantly changing, smoking is not condemned as much as it once was. Who are some of these athletes that have gone public with their marijuana use, you ask? Matt Barnes, now retired from the NBA, was quoted in an interview about it saying, “All my best games I was medicated.” Retired NFL player Shaun Smith was reportedly saying that marijuana use was widespread across the entire NFL. Not to mention Tiki Barber, the former running back of the New York Giants, is now investing in cannabis. Barber co-founded Grove Group Management, which was founded to focus on cannabis start-up businesses. Some people prefer to smoke for the THC because they like the high that comes with the psychoactive compound. It is known to ease MS pain, Parkinson’s, glaucoma, etc. Others may want to avoid the high and go for CBD products. CBD is more widely legal and accessible across the country and recognized for reducing chronic pain by smoking or using CBD oils, creams, and other products. However you prefer to ease the pain, you aren’t alone. Here is to looking forward to the future where stoners can exist in all sports, all positions, and all places of the country without reprimand or judgement. Bam Adebayo needs to unleash the beast
The Heat are currently sitting at 13th in the east with a record of 7 wins and 12 losses. Not counting the last game they played Saturday, they were 2 and 8 in their last ten games. They were all played without their SuperStar Jimmy Butler.
Taking a look at Bam those last 10 games without Jimmy, Bam only scored over 20 points four times and in those games he scores over 20 points, his lead his team to a 1 win and 3 loss record. One of those games he scored 41 points but Miami still did not win the game. Bam has proven that he can play at a very high level and score whenever he wants but that still is not leading his teams to victory. After Jimmy returns for almost two whole weeks off from playing a basketball game, his stats line was 30 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds. He also had the go ahead bucket with less then a minute to go and the Heat won their first game after five straight losses. I know this is a small sample size but why is it when Jimmy is out and Bam is leading, Miami seems not to win but when Jimmy is leading, Miami seems to figure out how to win. When looking at Bams stats over the previous 10 games without Jimmy, he averaged 20.6 points, 6.3 assists and 9.8 rebounds a game on 53% from the field and 88% from the free throw line. Now if you don't watch any games and you look at that, you would think the Heat would be 7 and 3 or 8 and 2 over their last 10 games. Welp, clearly this isn't the case. Bam has team spirit, he plays hard, he defends, he rebounds, he shares the ball and gets his teammates involved and seems to do everything else for this team. So why doesn't their record reflect this? Why is it that when Jimmy was back, Bam wasn't the go to guy when down late in the 4th? For me, I think it is very clear. He doesn't know how to win yet, he doesn't believe in himself enough, and he doesn't play aggressive and selfish enough. When I say he doesn't know how to win yet, I am strictly saying that when in a close game or the team needs someone to go to, he doesn't seem to be that guy. Jimmy clearly is and knows how to score and take over games when it is needed. Dwyane Wade knew how to do the same thing. Towards the end of his career, he would only score about 8 to 10 points through 3 quarters but when the 4th quarter came, he scored at will, had huge blocked shots and steals as well. He would end the game with about 20 to 25 points. He had go to moves to score and lead his team to a victory. Bam is still young and still needs to know how to do this without Jimmy on the court. Bam simply does not believe in himself to take over a basketball game when the time comes. I listen to him speak and he says that he clearly believes in himself and his teammates but when I watch him play, I don't think he does. He is still very hesitant to shoot the ball at times even though he is getting better. He still doesn't have a go to move that he can constantly score off of. He doesn't look to score when the defense sags off of him, he looks to pass. He still gets stripped fairly easily when driving or making a move in the lane. Seeing all of these features from him in games doesn't show that he has confidence in his game. He needs to shoot jumpers more to make the defense really respect him. He needs to be stronger with the ball when in the lane and he needs to develop a go to move that he can score off of at any given moment to show more confidence in his game. This last part has to do with my previous two paragraphs. He isn't aggressive and selfish enough. When Bam has the ball on offense, he mostly looks to pass and get others involved, which is not a bad thing at all, but he is becoming predictable to the defense. This is leading to double teams and sagging defense on Bam. If Bam shows that he will take his jumpers more, this will lead to him having other teammates open and him being able to have more driving lanes when playing. When watching players like Jimmy Butler, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard and even past players like Kevin Garnett, Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant, you can see that in order to win games sometimes it is very necessary to be selfish and get yourself more looks and shots in a game to help your team win. Once Bam learns and realizes this, the Heat will finally win more when Jimmy is out and they will finally get this SuperStar that they always knew Bam could be. The Heat want Bam to be the next SuperStar for the team. If he is going to reach this level then these are the things that need to improve in his game. 2021 NFL Mock Draft2/1/2021 2021 NFL Mock Draft 2021 NFL Mock Draft Full First Round
Contributor Thomas Gorski takes us through his projections for the 2021 NFL Mock Draft. Round 1 Pick 1: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson The Jacksonville Jaguars can’t possibly mess this pick up as they are going to land arguably the most talented quarterback to ever come out of College Football. The Jaguars are rumored to be on the verge of landing former Ohio State and Florida Head Coach Urban Meyer. I can’t imagine that he would come out of retirement to coach unless he was going to end up with a once in a generation type quarterback such as Trevor Lawrence. NFL Comparison: Andrew Luck Round 1 Pick 2: Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State The Sam Darnold experiment hasn’t gone as expected and part of the blame was having Adam Gase as his Head Coach, not many can survive that train wreck. General Manager, Joe Douglas has no loyalty as he wasn’t the GM who drafted him at the time back in 2018. The Jets will likely move on from Darnold and ship him away to a team such as the Steelers, Saints, Colts or Bears who are in need of a Quarterback for a Day 2 pick. Justin Fields has an argument for being the #1 overall pick and would most likely be if it wasn’t for Lawrence. Fields is the complete package and has the maturity, arm strength, mobility and leadership to lead an NFL franchise in the right direction. If anyone can handle the pressure of living up to the New York media, it would be Justin Fields. NFL Comparison: Deshaun Watson Round 1 Pick 3: Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon Dolphins General Manager Chris Grier has done a fantastic job building one of the league’s best defenses but now he needs to find a way to fix the offense and build around last year’s 5th overall pick, Tua Tagovailoa. Alabama’s DeVonta Smith and LSU’s Jamar Chase would normally make a lot of sense here if the Jets take Sewell and pass on Fields but having the 18th overall pick creates a lot more flexibility in a deep receiver class. Tua needs more weapons but Miami also needs to provide the best protection possible for him if they want to keep him on the field consistently. If there was ever a time to talk about a can’t miss Offensive Line prospect, Sewell is the guy. He’s the best tackle to arguably come out in the last decade. He’s a big mauler tackle with surprising speed that can play both Left or Right Tackle and be an All-Pro at both positions in his rookie season. Miami traded away Laremy Tunsil in the deal to acquire this pick a few years back, it’s only right if they take a Tunsil replacement with the pick. NFL Comparison: Anthony Munoz Round 1 Pick 4: Zach Wilson, QB, BYU Atlanta can’t move on from Matt Ryan until the 2022 season, they should be on the verge of finding his replacement as Ryan is already 35 years old. Zach Wilson is the type of raw prospect that has a ton of upside. Wilson is a natural thrower of the football and can make any NFL throw if it’s a side-arm, tight coverage or while on the run. Wilson is the perfect guy to sit behind Ryan for a year or so and learn from him as he’s not quite ready as some of the others are in this class. Taking Wilson all depends on who they hire as Head Coach, I would love to see a Eric Bieniemy/Zach Wilson pairing with Calvin Ridley for the foreseeable future as the rest of the NFL should be put on notice if this happens. NFL Comparison: Patrick Mahomes Round 1 Pick 5: Jamar Chase, WR, LSU Joe Burrow looked unbelievable prior to his injury and already looks like the franchise QB the Bengals have been looking for. Cincinnati’s number one priority this offseason should be protecting Burrow at all costs. It would be a miracle if Sewell fell to them here but looks very unlikely and drafting Rashawn Slater from Northwestern is a bit too rich this high. They found a gem in rookie Tee Higgins in last year’s draft and AJ Green will likely walk into free agency. The Bengals would be crazy to pass on a Burrow to Chase duo in the NFL as they were a part of College Football’s best offense ever in 2019 which was led by Burrow and Chase. Together the two were nearly unstoppable as Chase recorded 1,780 yards and 23 Touchdowns from Burrow in the 2019 season. Even with Chase opting out of the 2020 College Football Season, he is the top of this year’s loaded receiver class and Cincinnati needs to jump on this opportunity. NFL Comparison: Steve Smith Round 1 Pick 6: Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State The Eagles have a ton of holes pretty much everywhere and the wide receiver position is up there as a priority but they need to select the best player available. The Eagles defense allowed 363.1 yards per game and gave up 26.1 points per game. Philadelphia needs to find a way to improve and taking the best defensive player in the draft is the way to go. Parsons is a day one starter and can be the leader on defense that Philadelphia desperately needs. It will be hard for Howie Roseman to pass up on another explosive receiver in this year’s draft but Micah Parsons fills a much bigger need for Philadelphia. NFL Comparison: Shaq Thompson Round 1 Pick 7: DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama The Lions are in the search of a Head Coach and General Manager, the question now is will Matthew Stafford be the quarterback to start the 2021 season? If so, Detroit will need to find a potential Marvin Jones replacement as it’s unlikely he’ll be back next season. Teaming up an explosive game-changing receiver such as Smith with Golladay is the perfect move to make going into next season. Detroit will have a young trio of DeVonta Smith, D’Andre Swift and TJ Hockenson and that would be a way to extend Stafford’s career as he’s shown to be injury prone the past few seasons. NFL Comparison: Stefon Diggs Round 1 Pick 8: Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama Matt Rhule used his entire 2019 draft class on the defensive side of the ball and that won’t be changing here. Carolina has one of the worst secondary’s and Donte Jackson isn’t what they need as their lockdown corner going forward. Surtain has been at Alabama the past three seasons and has been nothing but exceptional over there. Nick Saban had Minkah Fitzpatrick as his go to guy on defense that he can trust and now he’s had Surtain as his guy. Surtain has the ability to play corner or safety at the pro level and this is the perfect pick for a young Carolina defense. NFL Comparison: Minkah Fitzpatrick Round 1 Pick 9: Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech Denver lost Chris Harris Jr in free agency last offseason and made a trade for AJ Bouye to replace him. Bouye is a nice #2 but he’s no lockdown corner and Vic Fangio needs to fix his defense fast if he wants to retain his job going forward. Caleb Farley is a perfect scheme fit for Denver and can be a day one starter for them. Quarterback is a possibility here but I think Denver will play it safe and take Farley. NFL Comparison: Jimmy Smith Round 1 Pick 10: Rashawn Slater, OT/OG, Northwestern The Cowboys could potentially take a quarterback here if they decide to let Dak Prescott walk in free agency. Dallas has a lot of needs all over the place but we don’t know how much Tyron Smith has left in him and with the unexpected retirement last season of Travis Frederick, the Cowboys need to fix their offensive line. Slater has the most upside out of all of the offensive lineman in this year’s draft, he has the ability to play any of the five positions on the line. At Northwestern, he played every position on the line and exceeded expectations. Dallas needs to find more ways to get Ezekiel Elliot going and drafting Slater here would be a good start as he can slide in at Left Guard right away or move over to Right Tackle. NFL Comparison: Jonah Williams Round 1 Pick 11: Kwity Paye, DE/DT, Michigan Joe Judge and the Giants have a lot of needs but I think they need to keep building the defense. Selecting Paye here will be adding a much needed edge rusher to the defensive line to team up with Dalvin Tomlinson and Leonard Williams. Paye is the perfect fit in New York’s 3-4 defense as Paye has the ability to play both inside and out on the edge. NFL Comparison: Jonathan Allen Round 1 Pick 12: Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State The Jimmy Garoppolo experiment is officially over and Kyle Shanahan needs to find a game-changing quarterback that can take the offense to the next level. Lance is a dual threat quarterback that can extend plays which Garoppolo has struggled with thus far. Lance is known for having a strong arm and being super mobile but he also has the ability to lead a locker room and make everyone around him better. San Francisco needs to find a Franchise Quarterback as the NFC West is loaded with talent at the quarterback position with Kyler Murray, Jared Goff and Russell Wilson. NFL Comparison: Josh Allen Round 1 Pick 13: Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech The Chargers found their franchise quarterback of the future in last year’s draft, now it’s time to find Justin Herbert some protection. Darrisaw is a big mauler with tremendous strength and will be an instant starter in the NFL. Los Angeles should be getting Bryan Bulaga back next season on the right side and now they will have Herbert’s blindside for the next decade. NFL Comparison: Orlando Brown Jr Round 1 Pick 14: Gregory Rousseau, DE, Miami Minnesota had one of the league’s worst defensive units and had a total of 23 sacks this past season. Danielle Hunter should be back at full strength to go along with Michael Pierce on the defensive line. Adding Rousseau will create havoc on opposing offensive lines and hopefully fill in a hole for Minnesota as they look for their Everson Griffen replacement. NFL Comparison: Danielle Hunter Round 1 Pick 15: Mac Jones, QB, Alabama The Cam Newton experiment was an absolute failure and New England needs a ton of help on the offensive side of the ball. Mac Jones makes a lot of sense for New England and will be a great fit for them as he doesn’t turn over the football and he can make the big time throws when needed. New England could take a receiver such as Jaylen Waddle here but Jones has too much upside to pass on. NFL Comparison: Jimmy Garappolo Round 1 Pick 16: Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina Arizona’s defense is a complete mess, especially in the secondary as they are likely to move on from Patrick Peterson. In week 17, John Wolford passed for 231 yards with ease against Arizona’s defense and made some big time throws that helped eliminate the Cardinals from playoff contention. Horn makes a lot of sense as Arizona is looking for Patrick Peterson’s replacement and someone to team up with Budda Baker, Isaiah Simmons and Byron Murphy in the secondary. NFL Comparison: Kyle Fuller Round 1 Pick 17: Alijah Vera-Tucker, OG, USC Las Vegas already has a pretty loaded offensive line but there is no reason not to keep loading up on talent, especially the interior. The Raiders already have an elite guard in Richie Incognito but on the opposite side, Gabe Jackson who has been very underwhelming since he signed his extension a few years back hasn’t lived up to his contract. Vera-Tucker can easily go top 15 but in this scenario he will drop slightly and land with a team that already has one of the league’s best offensive lines. Vera-Tucker will solidify the Raiders interior offensive line for years to come and create more holes for Josh Jacobs as they hope to return to the playoffs in 2021. NFL Comparison: Mike Lupati Round 1 Pick 18: Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama Miami needs to improve on offense this offseason and already did by selecting Penei Sewell at pick #3. Tua needs weapons and he’s already familiar with Waddle from their days together at Alabama. Waddle is likely going to slip in the draft due to an ankle injury he suffered during the season that kept him out the rest of the year. Waddle is the perfect slot receiver to add into Miami’s offense that they can team up with Devante Parker and Preston Williams. NFL Comparison: Randall Cobb Round 1 Pick 19: Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas Washington traded away one of the best tackles in the league this past offseason and it makes sense to find a replacement for Trent Williams. Washington needs to make protecting Alex Smith a priority heading into the offseason. Cosmi will be a solid starting caliber Left Tackle and drafting him at pick 19 is great value. NFL Comparison: Riley Reiff Round 1 Pick 20: Wyatt Davis, OG, Ohio State Somehow the Chicago Bears made it to the playoffs with Mitch Trubisky at quarterback after the offense struggled with Nick Foles. Chicago’s offensive line has been their achilles heel on offense as both Foles and Trubisky have been sacked 36 times this season. The interior of the offensive line has been a big issue for Chicago and selecting Davis here will help stabilize the interior as he can be an All-Pro Guard for Chicago right away. He will likely start at Right Guard while Cody Whitehair stays at Center and James Daniels comes back next season as starting Left Guard. NFL Comparison: Kelechi Osemele Round 1 Pick 21: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida Jacksonville already drafted Trevor Lawrence #1 overall and surrounding him with as many weapons as possible is the best way to start his career. Pitts is one of the most explosive players in college football and he plays the tight end position. Teaming up Lawrence and Pitts could be as dynamic as the Mahomes and Kelce connection. Jacksonville can be one of the most explosive and dynamic offenses in the league with Lawrence, Pitts, Shenault and Robinson all under the age of 25 and on rookie deals. NFL Comparison: Chase Claypool/Evan Engram Round 1 Pick 22: Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State Indianapolis could be on the search for a Phillip Rivers replacement but in this mock, I believe they keep building the defense. The secondary is a pretty big need for them as Xavier Rhodes isn’t getting any younger and he’s not as agile as he once was. Rock Ya-Sin has been a solid Chris Ballard selection but selecting Wade here makes a ton of sense as he’s a little raw but has as much upside as any corner in this draft. Wade won’t be rushed to start right away and the Colts can slowly work him in. NFL Comparison: Carlton Davis Round 1 Pick 23: Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame Cleveland has to fill a lot of needs on the defensive side of the ball, especially when it comes to the linebacker position. The Browns will likely move on from Malcolm Smith this offseason and BJ Goodson isn’t the answer at Middle-Linebacker. Selecting Owusu-Koramoah makes a ton of sense here and he will start right away in the middle as both Jacob Phillips and Mack Wilson will start on the outside. This pick will create a dynamic trio to build off of as they already have a young up and coming secondary to go with one of the league’s most dangerous pass rushers, Myles Garrett upfront at defensive end. NFL Comparison: Demario Davis Round 1 Pick 24: Jealan Phillips, DE, Miami Tennessee doesn’t have a ton of holes to fill but selecting Phillips here is likely a Jadeveon Clowney replacement. They will need to find another pass rusher to team up with Harold Landry and Phillips is raw with a ton of upside. Mike Vrabel will be able to get the best out of Phillips if he develops as he’s expected to. NFL Comparison: Harold Landry Round 1 Pick 25: Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame Tom Brady will be back next season at age 44 and he’s going to need as much protection as possible. Tampa Bay hit a homerun with Tristian Wirfs and he solidified the Right Tackle spot on the offensive line. Eichenberg will start right away for Tampa Bay as they desperately try to move on from Donovan Smith who has been a complete disaster as Left Tackle. NFL Comparison: Alejandro Villenueva Round 1 Pick 26: Terrace Marshall Jr, WR, LSU Lamar Jackson still doesn’t have a reliable #1 receiver in Baltimore as Marquise Brown hasn’t lived up to expectations since being drafted in the first round a few years back. Adding Marshall here will give Jackson a red zone target besides Mark Andrews. Marshall is a big body receiver who can out jump opposing defenders due to his 6’4” height and athleticism. Baltimore needs to load up at receiver as Willie Snead isn’t getting any younger and Miles Boykin hasn’t proven to be anything special since he’s entered the league. NFL Comparison: Mike Williams Round 1 Pick 27: Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson The Le’Veon Bell signing turned out as badly as everyone predicted and New York has moved on from him and Adam Gase. New York already selected a dynamic player in Justin Fields so might as well grab the most dynamic back in this year’s draft. Etienne is the most complete back in this draft and isn’t just a great back running between the tackles, he is even more dangerous out of the backfield in the receiving game. He has the ability to line up all over the field and be a dangerous offensive weapon. New York has now found their Quarterback and Running Back of the future and now has a chance to be one of the league’s most explosive offenses down the road. NFL Comparison: Alvin Kamara Round 1 Pick 28: Kyle Trask, QB Florida The Pittsburgh Steelers have been spoiled since 2004 as Ben Roethlisberger has been one of the most successful quarterbacks in NFL History. They haven’t had a backup plan for years and Mason Rudolph isn’t the guy. The time has come that Pittsburgh fan’s have been dreading and that’s the end of Big Ben. Roethlisberger is washed up and at the end of his career and it’s now time to figure out his heir apparent as next season is likely his last. Kyle Trask makes a lot of sense here as he isn’t ready to start and needs about a year to learn the speed of the NFL and I can’t think of a better spot than with the Pittsburgh Steelers. NFL Comparison: Ryan Fitzpatrick Round 1 Pick 29: Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota Drew Brees is rumored to be retiring at the end of this season and they will likely go forward with Taysom Hill or Jameis Winston. Emmanuel Sanders isn’t getting any younger and Tre’Quan Smith isn’t a #2 receiver. Selecting Bateman here will provide a reliable target that can compliment Michael Thomas very nicely. Whoever takes over after Brees will need as many weapons as possible and adding Bateman to an offense surrounded by Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara can certainly help. NFL Comparison: Keenan Allen Round 1 Pick 30: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama The Buffalo Bills offense is as explosive as anyone in the league but the only reason they can’t necessarily compete with Kansas City offensively just yet is because they can’t run the ball efficiently. Devin Singletery is a nice change of pace back to have on third down but he’s never going to get you 200 carries and double digit touchdowns in a season. Harris can come in and be a workhorse back right away and slow down the game by running all over defenses. He has the ability to be a three-down back and carry the ball over 300 times if needed. Harris will set up the play action with Allen and create more separation for Stefon Diggs so he isn’t consistently double covered. NFL Comparison: Mark Ingram Round 1 Pick 31: Rondale Moore, WR Purdue The Green Bay Packers need to desperately find a receiver to compliment Davante Adams if they want to extend Aaron Rodgers’s career. Moore is a speedster who can be very shifty and make defenders miss when it looks like there is nowhere to go. Moore can be used on kick and punt returns but also can burn a defense on the outside with his burst of speed. NFL Comparison: Curtis Samuel Round 1 Pick 32: Derion Kendrick, CB, Clemson Kansas City won’t ever have a lot of needs due to having Patrick Mahomes leading the way but they will need to work on the defense if they want to avoid losing shoot outs to Justin Herbert. The Chiefs have lost Marcus Peters and Kendall Fuller over the past few years and need to find a reliable cornerback to defend the pass-heavy AFC West. NFL Comparison: AJ Terrell The Recommended Content Widget will appear here on the published site.

Superbowl Preview Brady VS Mahomes1/29/2021 GUESS WHO’S BACK?! BACK AGAIN?! BRADY’S BACK, TELL A FRIEND! Oh wait, you don't have to because it's his 10th time going to the superbowl. You read that correctly, his 10th time. Whether you hate or love him or even you hate to love him, no one can deny how amazing this is.
We all get to witness history in the making every time he steps on the field, completes a pass, throws a touchdown, and wins a game. If he wins the upcoming superbowl, he will have won seven out of his ten superbowl appearances. That sounds just crazy to even write but hold on, he doesn't just get to have a cake walk right into victory lane. Brady is met by the young superstar Patrick Mahomes, who after last year's superbowl victory, is definitely going to try to win back to back super bowls and show Brady he is here to take over and no one will stand in his way. With these two superstars going head to head on the biggest stage it is not a leap to say that this is the best quarterback matchup of all time. Mahomes is moving at such a historic pace that it wouldn't be surprising that he reaches 10 super bowls or even more with how talented this guy is. I can even see him breaking Brady's regular season records and post season records of combined passing yard, regular season touchdown passes, career touchdown passes, andpostseason yards. He still has a long way to go before breaking these records but I have nodoubt in my mind that if he stays healthy, he will be able to reach these records that Tom Brady has ridiculously set. Both of these teams have great offensenses with two great quarterbacks leading the way but with all the hype around the offense, it's the defense who is going to decide who will win the game. We all know that both of these teams can put up large numbers when on offense but everyone knows the saying, “Defense wins championships” This game will come down to which defense can make the most stops and the least number of errors during the game and when it comes down the 4th quarter, which team can put the clamps on either of these quarterback’s when they have the ball. Both of these defense’s will definitely have their hands full trying to contain these super stars QB’s but no matter who wins, this game will be legendary, that is without a question. Tom Brady is the legend whose career is coming to a close and Patrick Mahomes is the legend of the future who will run this league for years to come as Brady did before him. Everyone who watches this game is witnessing history and should try to appreciate greatness from both QB’s no matter who wins because we have never seen a QB matchup like this before. Be ready for a great game because I know that is what we are going to get! Tell me your opinion and leave me comments on who wins and why? Who do you think wins the MVP? 10 Things To Keep In Mind When Choosing A Lawyer![]() Whether it's setting up a business, real estate transactions or any other legal issue, there is a need for an expert and experienced attorney. Choosing the right one can be time-consuming but it is extremely vital. You are going to trust that person by providing your personal as well as professional information. There are numerous lawyers and selecting the proper one is often discouraging. Much like choosing a doctor, you should choose your lawyer according to your need. While choosing a person for your legal issues, you must go the extra mile. Before committing to anyone you should check out these points so that you won't regret it later. 1.Area of expertise You have to make sure that the lawyer you are going to hire is an expert in that area of law which you want. There are many areas of practice in the law field, and lawyers are working on the specific area. The specialized lawyer has more knowledge and working experience and he is more likely to handle your issue potentially. Some cover property, family, real estate, business, criminal and civil rights law. 2. Ask for referrals You have to ask for referrals from the people to whom they had worked before. Ask your friends or family who have worked with any lawyer, personal connections are so valuable. Check out the online resources which can provide information about the lawyer. After collecting the names of lawyers, make a list then look out for all these points. If a lawyer covers all the points then go ahead. Choosing an attorney is very crucial so give it some time and look wisely. 3.Regional lawyer Laws vary from state to state and the regional lawyer has more knowledge about that area where you live. A lawyer should be known of the legal requirements of that area so that you develop a face to face relation. Someone familiar with your region has a better knowledge of local procedures and laws. Local area lawyers will understand your condition more perfectly and will provide you the right solution by working hard on it. 4. Choose the right law firm Choosing the right law firm can affect your decision as well. There are small, large and medium size firms. If you have any small issue then you should go for small firms as they are less expensive and more personal. While, if you have any big issue then big firms can tackle it better but they are expensive yet have more resources and well established. 5. Communication A lawyer should be a good communicator who talks to you nicely and provides the solutions for your problems. A lawyer should also be good to communicate with the adversaries. Always mention your preferred form of communication and fix the time. A good attorney always guides you with advantages and disadvantages of any legal action. Also, the lawyer should take time to advise complicated problems and provide many ways before taking any action. 6. The legal team Yes, the team of the attorney is also a vital part in which you have to be careful. Many lawyers work alone and on other hand some have their team. You have to make sure who is handling your files as it will impact on the cost and service quality. Always ask who is working on your case and communicate to let them know about your case. 7. Potential costs It is important to know how much your lawyer will charge you for the services as it can be expensive. Big law firms are expensive as they have more potential but small firms charge less amount. So, clarify the cost that you are going to pay. Also, discuss that when you have to pay means the duration of billing. The cost is the king of your decision. It depends on how much you want to pay and how much the lawyer wants to charge so always discuss the billing process. If you are paying for the right lawyer then you will worth it. 8. Right experience You want to make sure that the attorney has the right experience in your area of problem. You have to never compromise on the issue when selecting the attorney. Lawyers improve their work by working with more cases. So, it will be better to hire an experienced and specialist lawyer rather than a non experienced yet. Remember, a lawyer with experience will charge more but if you are choosing the right one then there is no harm. 9. Compatible enough While considering all the above points, you should also pay attention to the character of the person. A trustworthy and mutual understandable lawyer will make you feel comfortable. A lawyer who is thoughtful and works hard for you is the best. A lawyer who has a good history with his clients then it's great to deal. Someone who is arrogant and annoying will irritate you and thereby you will not win the case. 10. Clarify responsibilities In a large law firm you can't directly connect with the lawyer because many paralegals are working there. In a small law firm you can directly contact the lawyer and that is a bonus point. Or, if you want to hire a large firm then ask the contact attorney which individual attorney is responsible for your case and communicate with them. You should also ask about which attorneys will work on your case till the end. Bottom line Pay more attention while choosing a lawyer and there are many factors which can affect it. Experienced and well communicated lawyer is a way to go. While, expertise area, checking references and choosing a regional lawyer and right firm should be considered. Having good mutual relations and asking for fees will make a win-win situation for both. The Recommended Content Widget will appear here on the published site.
