![]() Dubai Airport confirmed a 70% drop in the number of passengers last year. But air passenger traffic, which has been almost completely paralyzed by the covida-19 pandemic, will not return to pre-crisis levels so soon. Lufthansa's first man estimates that the numbers that international airports and airlines once boasted could only come closer in five years. Dubai Airport, considered as one of the major transit airports, had 25.9 million passengers last year, up 70 percent less from the previous year, when 86 million passengers were listed. The decline was attributed to the covida-19 pandemic and fewer trips, as well as tighter conditions in the tourism sector. Dubai International Airport CEO Paul Griffiths estimated that last year was the most difficult year for the aviation industry. The airport was even closed for a while in the spring. “The effects of the pandemic have been felt around the world,” he added. in 2019, as one of the largest airports in the world, already experienced a 3.1% drop in the number of passengers. With this, for the first time in 20 years, they had a drop in passenger numbers on an annual basis. Dubai Airport last year most passengers arrived at Dubai Airport from India (4.3 million), followed by passengers from the UK (1.8 million) and Pakistan (4.3 million). Dubai is a popular destination for tourists looking for higher temperatures during the winter. However, Dubai has also had to tighten its measures in recent weeks, as more than 500,000 tourists have 'flocked' to the resorts there, leading to a resurgence in the number of new coronavirus infections. Lufthansa's first man expects air traffic to return to normal in five years According to Lufthansa CEO Carsten Spohr, air passenger traffic, which has been hit hard by the covida-19 pandemic, will not return to pre-crisis levels any time soon. He estimated that air passenger traffic in Europe and the US at the 2019 level will not return in less than five years. Lufthansa's fleet will shrink from about 800 to 650 aircraft due to the pandemic. “To date, there have been no relaxations of the strict rules, which makes it very difficult to carry air passenger transport,” said Spohr at a web conference of one of London’s economics schools this week. “What’s more, the restrictions have been tightened at best,” he added. Weak numbers of passengers will be observed in the coming weeks, he is convinced. Even at the height of the summer season, it expects passengers to be only 40 to 60 percent of their numbers before a pandemic break out. “This will be a big challenge for companies,” he pointed out. According to him, obtaining a negative test for coronavirus before boarding will be crucial, but he emphasized that there are no clear instructions on how the test should be performed. At Lufthansa, he said, they prepared to the best of their ability. He believes that a negative test or vaccination certificate before boarding the plane will sooner or later be a world standard. ![]() Doncic is the hero of the dramatic finale against Boston The Mavericks seemed to be wasting another encounter in the final minutes as the Celtics ’onslaught nullified a dozen points of advantage. But Luka Dončić came to the rescue with two three-pointers in the last seconds and brought Dallas a much-needed victory (110: 107) with an explosion of joy on the home bench. The last shot for three came from almost the same place as the famous Dončić trio (31 points, 8 assists, 10 rebounds, stolen ball) against the Clippers in last year's playoffs and on the TNT television network they had their hands happy, as spectators witnessed a tense match, which unfolded at the last second. "The goals in the last minute were great. Both attacks were difficult, the first even harder because we ran out of time. We did not have a minute break in the second, we gave the ball to Luka and let him create. He took his step right in front of me. back and throw, a remarkable throw, a breathtaking show,” coach Rick Carlisle also turned into an admirer for a moment. "On the first throw, I was more confident, I had a good feeling when the ball flew out of my hand. I was a little tired because I ran around with it the whole attack, but it went through the hoop. That is all that mattered. "Doncic described the moment of the decision. “Sometimes you miss like I did in the game against Portland, sometimes you hit, so ...” he shrugged. This time Robin of the Slovenian Batman was Jalen Brunson (22 points, 2 assists, 2 rebounds), his 16 points in the last quarter brought enough stock to withstand Boston’s onslaught in the final minutes. Josh Richardson added 16 points (and a pass and 4 rebounds) Tim Hardaway Jr. (14 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds) missed all eight throws from a distance but hit the ball through the hoop. Carlisle especially praised James Johnson (8 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals), who earned the championship of the best defender, which is shared at the club with victories. "He was great on defense. I don't know how long he hasn't played a minute, but he stayed ready and did a great job." Boban Marjanović also did well (10 points, assists, 8 rebounds), who also does not get chances often, this time he noticeably revived the Dallas attack. According to Carlisle, the presence of spectators is also wisible, even though there were only 3,300 of them in the 19,000-seat hall. "We feel their presence, their energy. I have no doubt we are playing better basketball since they are with us," he is convinced. Dončić is also happy to have spectators in the game again. "Right after the game I said, imagine the hall would be full, the feeling would be even better. But even now it was nicer to end the game like that when there were some fans with us," he was grateful for their encouragement. In a three- All Star match, Jayson Tatum (28 points, 4 assists, 6 rebounds, steal, 2 blocks) and Jaylen Brown (29 points, 5 assists, 7 rebounds, 2 steals) had a great evening. It didn’t even help Boston that veteran Kemba Walker (21 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds) was in the mood this time as well, nullifying Dallas ’advantage with threes at the end. Dončić swiped them anyway. "It's hard to explain the way people like Luka Doncic, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Larry Bird, Kobe Bryant ... guys who have that kind of laser focus. What I've seen over the years are at the end of games when it comes to winning, focused only on how to achieve what the team needs and achieves them,” Carlisle described his best player. A cat lawyer was on a zoom call recently dealing with the purrfect situation he was mistaken for a human only to accidently reveal his true cat form due to a technical glitch. It took the judge sometime to verify all necessary documents and confirm his cattitude. When asked he reiterated, I am not a cat, I am a human lawyer to which the fellow members of the call replied. Good kitty, accept and embrace yourself and don’t be afraid to chase that mouse. There has been a recent surge human cat impersonations, something authorities are currently looking into. It could be responsible for some of the confusion. Kitty , human dysphoria is currently a growing concern among mental health professionals. After all we are all chasing that mouse of self-acceptance and hope to one day all be good kitty’s ourselves. The rest of the legal panel continued to persist he was indeed a cat even going as far as meowing at him. The lawyer cat or not or not ended the call storming out protesting I am not a cat! Hopefully this cat lawyer learns to embrace and love his true self. The Recommended Content Widget will appear here on the published site.

![]() Some people are unusually resistant to the new coronavirus, so scientists are looking for answers to what gives them that resistance, reports the BBC. It started with the HIV virus As a young man, Stephen Crohn could only helplessly watch as his friends began to die one after another from a disease that did not yet have a name at the time. When his partner, athlete Jerry Green, fell ill in 1978, Crohn was convinced that the disease would soon affect him as well. But despite expectations, Crohn remained healthy, even when Green went blind and paralyzed because the HIV virus had hit his immune system so badly. Immunologist Bill Paxton therefore started looking for homosexuals who were resistant to the infection in 1996 and found the reason - the resistance of white blood cells or leukocytes. Even in the laboratory, he could not infect Crohn's white blood cells with HIV. Crohn was among the percentage of the population with a gene mutation that prevents HIV from binding to the surface of white blood cells. Based on this finding, scientists have been able to develop a drug that mimics the effect of this mutation. Blood group plays an important role Even today, scientists are trying to develop drugs based on the imitation of gene mutations of resistant individuals to treat other diseases. Jason Bobe, a geneticist at Icahn School of Medicine in New York City, has spent most of the past decade studying people with unusual resistance to a variety of diseases, from borreliosis to heart disease. Already during the first wave of the covida-19 epidemic, he began to wonder if there were people who were resistant to the virus. He tried to find families where several members had symptomatic covid-19 and only one of them was asymptomatic. Bobe will now try to thoroughly research the genome of people showing signs of resistance to the new coronavirus and determine if there are certain mutations in it that protect them from the virus. Scientists have already found some possible explanations. They found that people with blood type 0 and RH negative blood type were less likely to have a severe course of the disease. Although some scientists believe that some people with certain blood types have naturally present antibodies in their bodies that can partially recognize the virus, they do not yet have solid evidence for this. The 114-year-old also contracted Covid-19 114-year-old Mayana Zatz, director of the Human Genome Research Center at the University of Sao Paulo, is also trying to identify people who show high resistance to covid-19. Her research currently includes 100 couples in which one partner became ill and the other did not. "We are trying to find out why some people who are highly exposed to the virus do not get sick and do not develop antibodies - as it turns out, this is a fairly common occurrence," she told the BBC. Zatzova also analyzes the genome of twelve people a hundred or more years old who have been affected by the coronavirus only mildly, including a 114-year-old woman who she concludes is the oldest person in the world to have survived covid-19. On the other hand, seemingly healthy people on fans Qian Zhang, a geneticist at The Rockefeller University in New York, explained that with every infectious disease, there are people who can also become unexpectedly seriously ill, even though they are generally healthy. Severe problems can be caused by completely common viruses, such as herpes or the flu. At the start of the epidemic, the university was studying particularly unusual cases, such as seemingly perfectly healthy 30-year-olds who ended up on fans. Already at the beginning of the project, Zhang concluded what was causing such a response to the virus. As early as the 1960s, scientists discovered that our cells have a built-in t. i. an “alarm system” that alerts the body when attacked by a new virus. All cells receive a signal and devote themselves to preparing to fight the virus. However, due to certain mutations, in some people the cells do not respond properly and do not warn the body of the danger that threatens it. “If there is no alarm, the virus spreads and multiplies rapidly in the body,” Zhang explained. Such mutations can also be present in young, otherwise healthy people. Research shows that covid-19 is similar. Mutations and autoantibodies In the study, researchers at The Rockefeller University compared 987 patients with covid-19 (under the age of 50 and over the age of 50 who had no associated disease) who also developed severe pneumonia from covid-19. And what exactly did they find out? About 3.5% had a major gene mutation that caused their body not to respond properly. Another 10 percent had t present in their body. i. autoantibodies that can attack their own cells and thus cause great damage. Therefore, scientists want to discover people who are more vulnerable and sensitive to covid-19, as well as other viruses, such as seasonal flu. Zhang explains that anyone known to have a gene mutation that impairs their response to interferon can be treated with type 1 interferons either as a preventative measure or at an early stage of infection. They are also working with blood banks around the world to find out how widespread autoantibodies to type 1 interferon are among humans. If there are many people with such mutations, tests could be developed to determine which people are at greater risk for the infection. Specific combination of genes impairs response However, autoantibodies and mutations that directly block interferon account for only about 14 percent of abnormally sensitive patients. For the remaining 86 percent, geneticists believe their vulnerability stems from a network of genetic interactions that affect them directly when a virus attacks. "Few people have a hard time overcoming the disease due to a mutation in just one gene. Most patients follow a more complex model in which many genes work together, leading to susceptibility to the more severe form of Covid-19," Alessandra Renieri, a professor of genetics at the BBC, told the BBC. University of Siena. Five genes that are more or less active than average Scientists at the University of Edinburgh, however, studied the genomes of 2,700 patients from intensive care units across the UK and compared them to healthy volunteers. They found that people who are more susceptible to the more severe form of covida-19 have five genes associated with the interferon response and susceptibility to pneumonia, which are either more or less active than in the general population. “This combination means the virus spreads more easily throughout the body, making them more likely to suffer more severe lung damage,” said Erola Pairo-Castineira, a scientist who participated in the study. This knowledge is expected to change the way of treatment in future epidemics as well. The Recommended Content Widget will appear here on the published site.

Who Is Mike Tyson?2/20/2021 Michael Gerard Tyson (born June 30, 1966) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 2005. Nicknamed "Iron Mike" and "Kid Dynamite" in his early career, and later known as "The Baddest Man on the Planet",Tyson is considered one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time. He reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990. Claiming his first belt at 20 years, four months, and 22 days old, Tyson holds the record as the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title.
Tyson won his first 19 professional fights by knockout, 12 of them in the first round. Tyson then won the WBC title in 1986 after stopping Trevor Berbick in the second round and added the WBA and IBF titles after defeating James Smith and Tony Tucker in 1987. He was the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC, and IBF titles, as well as the only heavyweight boxer to hold them in succession. In 1992, Tyson was convicted of rape and sentenced to six years in prison, although he was released on parole after three years. After his release in 1995, he engaged in a series of comeback fights, regaining the WBA and WBC titles in 1996. After being stripped of the WBC title in the same year, Tyson lost the WBA title to Evander Holyfield by an eleventh-round stoppage. Their 1997 rematch ended when Tyson was disqualified for biting Holyfield's ear, one bite notoriously being strong enough to remove a portion of his right ear. In 2002, Tyson fought for the world heavyweight title again at the age of 35, losing by knockout to Lennox Lewis. Tyson retired from professional boxing in 2006, after being stopped in consecutive matches against journeymen Danny Williams and Kevin McBride. Tyson declared bankruptcy in 2003, despite having received over $30 million for several of his fights and over $600 million during his career. At the time the media reported that he had approximately $23 million in debt. Tyson was known for his ferocious and intimidating boxing style as well as his controversial behavior inside and outside the ring. As of the writing of this article Tyson had a 3 million net worth. Surprisingly modest for a person of his stature. He holds the sixth-longest unified championship reign in heavyweight boxing history at 8 consecutive defenses. BoxRec ranked him as the world's top 10 heavyweight 12 times and placed him at No.1 from 1986 to 1989. He was ranked 16th on The Ring magazine's list of 100 greatest punchers of all time. Sky Sports described him as "perhaps the most ferocious fighter to step into a professional ring". He has been inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame and the World Boxing Hall of Fame. ![]() The COVID-19 pandemic caused the most significant disruption to worldwide sports, since World War II. Across the world and to varying degrees by countries, sports events have been cancelled or postponed. The 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo were rescheduled to 2021 same as European Championship in Football - Soccer. Supporters have no or few games to watch and players no or few games to play. Only a few countries and territories, such as Hong Kong, Turkmenistan, Belarus, and Nicaragua, have continued professional sporting matches as planned. Regarding leisure sports and activities, we can divide it into 2 categories: children and adults. When on one side adults are affected thru their free time activities such as gym, group sports and gatherings, bar sports, etc., children are affected in a larger scale. As we all know video games and staying in are the sport of the 21st Century for them. At least they had gym class in school but now… schools are closed and they stay inside. It effects their body and mind. It is said that more than 30% world population of children, is getting obese more and more since March 2020. The lack of sport activities is causing depression, heart and lungs disorders and much more among them. And since they are our future… it is wrong. There should be a bigger impact of parents and friends on the situation and we should care. On the other side we have the providers of activities. Gyms, sports halls, multipurpose halls, etc. are closed and loosing revenue. A lot of them will remain closed also after the pandemic since they are not multinationals but privately owned. And no business means no income and no income means out of business. Economy in sports is a relative thing. It depends on people to survive. This is the same for buying goods however, that is another story. But real money is involved in professional sports. The idea of modern gladiators playing on the field, court, etc. is alive since the times of ancient Romans and Greeks. Modern sports act in the same way. The only difference is new sports, technology, ideology, expectations and money. In the acropolis it was an event of receiving an honor or ‘’die’’ trying but today there is no contract signed without amounts of money that we will never see in our lifetime. And that what is it all about – money and fans. It goes together hand in hand , then came covid-19 and things changed in days. Fans were banned from being present at the games, leagues stopped, clubs stated losing money, players, etc. and there was a lot of misunderstanding. In Germany some of the handball players were actually playing with masks, USA and Chez team are banned from World Handball Championship, … And here are some more events that were either canceled or postponed. The amount of coverage is of 114 million GBP (143.4 million USD) Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Multi-sport competition Japan 24 July - 9 August 2020 23 July - 8 August 2021 Cancellation insurance underwrote for 24 million USD The World Athletics Championships Athletics Eugene, USA 6 - 15 August 2021 15 - 24 July 2022 Postponed by one year to make way for the Tokyo Olympic Games The main thing is that due to coivd-19 there is no more real ‘’gladiators’’ out there in the sports kind of way. Much of the feeling, desire and will is lost and gone. There just too many things that are making this world change and not just sports. There is just too much influence of covid-19 into all the things that effect our lives. There so much talk about social distancing, wearing masks, and caring about each other that we know it all by heart but what is strange in all of this is that in some sports players can play and games are played and the only difference are the fans which are not present. Why can players be there close to each other and all, but the fans can’t sit and watch from a distance? Well that is just sad. For modern gladiators that is unimaginable except if they ready to lose the ‘’icon’’ effect in the eyes of the fans and nation. If there is something behind all of this it is money which is more prevelant. On the other side we as fans cannot accept the fact not being there for our team, players and country. What will the future bring us? If the pandemic doesn’t end in 2021 sports as we know it could easily lose sense. There will just be more money involved and the plays will not be as ‘’romantic’’ as they were before. For many reasons it is all losing logical sense. Again, money talks and as long as it will things will follow sadly in sports. The Recommended Content Widget will appear here on the published site.

Are Whites Unfairly Persecuted?2/15/2021 What is going on with college campuses? Let me tell you, when I was growing up and I heard about my family going to college I thought it was all about having fun, trying new things, and getting a good degree to get a good job coming out of college. Well, I was DEFINITELY wrong. Not just a little bit wrong, I mean, it was nothing like that. The longer I was in college the worse experiences I had and maybe it was just me and the major I chose to go into but the more people I talked to throughout the university, the more I knew that was not true. There are a lot of things I could talk about with what is wrong with colleges throughout the country but I was asked to talk about this one specific topic, college bullying.
At first hand it's like come on now, we are talking about people who are 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 years old. You must be joking right? Well I am not. Let me make this clear that I am not talking about kids getting their heads put in toilets or getting wedgies or things that happen in the movies. I am talking about verbal bullying and clear exclusion of others because of their views, religion, and political beliefs. It seems weird to me that we are in the year 2021 and it seems that we are in an age where people want everyone to be accepted for who they are and whatever their beliefs may be but that isn't happening. When I was on college campuses I ran into many different people from all over the world who had a ton of different views and beliefs. I honestly didn't care about any of that, the only thing that mattered to me was if you were nice and I liked your personality then we would be cool no matter what the other differences are. It was clear from day one that was not the case when it came to others. I have had teachers tell other students that they are racist for their beliefs, that their opinions don't matter because of their race, and racial slurs because of their race and what they believe in. I have talked to others who have been bullied in their dorms by their roommates from having different political views. One friend of mine had to move out and change the complete location of her apartment because it got so bad. I have had a teacher tell me that only white people can be racist. I had to listen to the author of the 1619 project when she came to my campus and she told us that minorities know better than white people and it shows when they vote and we need to listen to them if we are going to change society. My best friend had things stolen from him, people lie about him, people reject him for simply being friends with a white guy. I have not been asked to be on a basketball team simply for being white. I have been in a class where the teacher asked who would want to be black and said that because no one raised their hands, it shows your privilege and you must be racist. In my internship, I was judged for asking questions and it was considered insensitive because of the color of my skin. I have been judged, rejected, casted out because of my skin color, my political beliefs, and my gender. I have seen and heard from other people who are not like me be judged, casted out, and rejected because of their political beliefs and gender. I have listened and heard of many different views from around the globe and I don't ever agree with these people 100% and that is okay, we are all individuals and we are supposed to be different to help people around us grow and learn from each other. I might not know what it's like to be Hispanic, a women, black, Asian, gay, transgender, Muslim or anything else that makes me different from the rest of the world but heres the thing, if I can't say that I know what its like to be them, then people shouldn't be aloud to know what its like to be me. There's bad stereotypes for every different individual out in this world and it is clearly not right but these same people who want to say what it's like to be them or be their skin color or be their religion also don't know what it's like to be white. I have been called a racist, rapists, school shooter, mass murder, homophobic, xenophobic and I have had not been accepted to jobs because I am a male and the simple stereotype that has. Message is clear, don't judge me and I won't judge you. We need to listen and learn from one another. I am not here to complain or to get pity. I have still been very successful for my age, graduating college, getting my first job, rescuing animals, volunteering my time to help others who have less than me and I have a family that loves me and supports me even though I make plenty of mistakes along the way. I still have my bestfriend and I still ignore all of the things that are said about me because I have realized that the only person accountable for where I am in life is me. I am here to show that inclusion, diversity, and acceptance is going away on college campuses and that it needs to change, we need to have a real discussion about people with opposition views and we need to encourage dialog between people who are different because that is the only way we can heal and come together. We are all different in many ways, not just by the color of our skin, our views and our political beliefs. People who grow up in the same households can turn out completely different from one another for the simple reason that they are each individuals with their own perceptions of what is going on. With what is going on in not only my college campus but college campuses around the country, it seems to me that we have a huge problem of diversity when it comes to thinking and that is going to become a huge problem if it continues. I have seen a lot of strange things happen in college but I can say that one of the strangest is seeing the people who preach inclusion, diversity, and acceptance being the same people who bend their own rules to have special privileges so they don't have to see, hear, or be around people who have different beliefs, views, and political beliefs as them. This is not what MLK Jr. wanted our future to look like, this has to change, no, this needs to change. The Recommended Content Widget will appear here on the published site.

Valentine's day makes us all think , flowers, candy and romantic gestures but the day started with a different idea of romance. When the Ancient Roman's first started doing fertility festivals it was to help Women and Men find a mate.
That may not sound bad so far but we are getting to the good part. These festival's would involve the women and men getting drunk, then naked then the men would hit on the women quite literally. Women would be whipped with a whip made out of animal hide in the man's display of romantic and sexual interest. Finally a drunken orgy would commence among everyone. So this Valentine's day remember that if he really loves you he will ask if you want to have a BDSM themed drunken sex orgy. Anyone have any special Valentine's day plans that we should know of? Are we invited? Let us know in the comments. The Recommended Content Widget will appear here on the published site.

Jordan or LeBron? Greatness or greatness? Championships or Championships? Leader or leader? Winner or winner? Honestly can you go wrong with either choice? The answer is no. It depends on what you want and expect out of your leading man. Jordan is different in many wants when it comes to LeBron and LeBron is different from Jordan in many ways.
But when it comes to this debate on who's the G.O.A.T. what never gets brought up is expectations, medicine, and the game of basketball at the time just to get into a few differences. It's always stats vs stats and comparing the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's to early 2000's, 2010's and now the 2020's and is that simply fair to do when comparing the two players? Absolutely not. So much has changed from the time Jordan entered the league to 2021 that has changed the way the game is played and how players go about playing. Comparing these two players by stats is like comparing a movie that came out in 1988 and a movie that came out in 2019 with how much money they made and not looking at inflation, what was going on with society, and how promoting movies has changed when they were released in their respected times. I won't try and tell you who's better and who to go with but I will try and give you a different perspective when comparing the two players who are great in their own ways. When Jordan was playing and in his prime, the game was played at a very slow pace compared to how it is played today. That means less shots are being taken and the opportunity to score is much lower than it is today. Fouls were also being called less and therefore Jordan was having less opportunities at the free throw line and the game was more physical when it came to hard fouls and injuries, which means more time out for players then today. As the game has changed throughout the years, more rules were added to make the game safer for players and therefore giving them a lot more opportunities at the free throw line. The game has also made the game a lot more family friendly so they made rules to help stop fighting and physical fouls which means less players being injured and more time playing the game. We can also take a look at how fast the game is played and how teams run their offenses compared to when Jordan was playing. In today's game, teams are shooting about 50 to 60 three point shots a game which is leading to higher scores and more points for the players who play in today's game. The game also is more spread out in today's game which leads to much clearer paths when driving to the lane then compared to when Jordan was playing. Jordan's Era was played much closer together which led to hard fouls when driving to the lane and being hit by more players as well. The fact that Jordan was not a three point shooter also hurts him when comparing him to LeBron because LeBron plays today, where if you don't have a 3 point shot, you won't play. Jordans era also shot a lot more mid range shots and if you watch today's game, the mid range shot has pretty much disappeared. Those are just a couple of differences in the game that have severely impacted stats of these two players. Another thing to look at is medicine and technology when looking at injuries and strength and conditioning in the NBA. We all know since the 80s technology in medicine and overall health has changed so much and this has impacted how players played, were treated for injuries and how long they were able to play in the NBA. LeBron has the best treatment money can buy to keep his body in top shape to play for as long as he would like. Jordan has the same thing but again, the technology and knowledge was not the same and so much worse in my opinion. We can also compare the nutritional aspect of being in the NBA. Just looking and comparing what was eaten and what was suggested in the 80s and 90s to now? It doesn't compare because we know so much more about what's better for our bodies and this helps with injuries and our overall physical condition. This clearly has an impact on both players. When looking at expectations when the two played. Jordan legit hated players who did not play for him. He would not talk to them and you can even make an argument the reason Isiah Thomas was not on the dream team was because of Jordan. Jordan did not team up and with anyone and was surrounded by players who knew their roles very well. Jordan or anyone else at the time teamed up together to win and that is clearly different in today's NBA. Jordan was expected to lead and win by scoring and since the game was played at a slower pace, it means his assists were lower than LeBrons and so were his rebounds. LeBron was much more friendly when it comes to his opponents. He teamed up with Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, and Anthony Davis just to name a few SuperStars he's played with. The game has changed with how players go about winning but we all know LeBron isn't the only one to do this. One last thing to consider when looking at this debate. Players learn, evolve, and take moves from people before them. Jordan took moves and learned the game from people who were legends to him and who did things that were never seen before. LeBron did the same thing. Jordan then took everything he learned and did it better and same with LeBron. The difference is, LeBron learned a lot from Jordan, Jordan didn't learn anything from LeBron. LeBron saw a lot more talented players and more skills performed at a high level then Jordan did so had much more to go off of and add to his game then Jordan. I could go on and on about how the 1980's were different then 2021 in the game of basketball but that isn't necessary. Looking at this Jordan vs LeBron debate should definitely be looked at in this light because clearly it isn't the same game and it gives a lot of context behind the numbers. This is very important when comparing the two and whose career is more impressive and ultimately who is the G.O.A.T. The Recommended Content Widget will appear here on the published site.
